Recent Sister to Sister Luncheon in Prescott

The AAUWAZ Community Action Reimbursement program was established to support branch outreach activities. Typically these are activities that demonstrate the AAUW mission in local communities.
Currently, Running and Winning, an AAUW national program to encourage young women to participate more fully in civic matters, is offered by Scottsdale, Casas Adobes, and Tucson branches in partnership with the League of Women Voters. Prescott encourages students from the tri-city area to pursue higher education at their Sister-to-Sister event, supports women returning to college in their Woman to Woman mentoring program, and partners with the Girl Scouts to offer a Career Fair.

The CA grant reimburses the branch for expenses up to $500. Deadline for the 2017-18 grants is March 1.
